The following disclosures are provided to help our members better understand the continuing education implications of Bank CEO Network meetings.  The primary purpose of the Bank CEO Network and related peer group meetings is to help community bank CEOs in the performance of their duties.  However, some members desire continuing education credit for their participation in Bank CEO Network programs.  Therefore, we have registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) in order to provide an additional benefit to those members.  The following disclosures are required as part of our agreement with NASBA.

  • Programs are delivered to members using the Group Live format
  • Program level - programs are designed for community bank CEOs unless specified otherwise, for CPE purposes we describe the program level as “Update”
  • Prerequisites - must meet the membership requirements of The Bank CEO Network
  • Advance preparation - advance preparation is not required for Bank CEO Network meetings However, you will be asked to participate in surveys, provide data or other input related to certain topics from time-to-time.
  • CPE credit, based on NASBA standards, totaling 14 credit hours will be granted to participants who attend all regular sessions.  CPE credit is generally not granted for attendance at optional sessions on Wednesday mornings.
    • Credits for the Spring Meetings will be: 10.5 hours Business Management & Organization and 3.5 hours Finance.
    • Credits for the Fall Meetings will be: 7.0 hours Business Management & Organization, 3.5 hours Business Law and 3.5 hours Specialized Knowledge
  • Meetings are an integral part of Bank CEO Network membership.  No additional charge is assessed for attendance at meetings and no refund is available for failure to attend scheduled meetings.
  • Complaints, comments and issues are handled by the management of The Bank CEO Network (Jim Koltveit, Bob Walters and Cass Bettinger).  Complaints, comments and issues may be directed to any member of the management team.
